It has been a full eventful week! This week I am so thankful for our senior couples and all they do. They are invaluable to this mission. I am also thankful for Costco so I could feed lots of hungry missionaries. I am so grateful for my little family and how they have embraced our new life. I love all our missionaries and feel it a privilege to serve. I love the Savior, he is the reason I am here. Life has not been without heartache or sorrow but it is better than I could have ever dreamed. Service is the key to happiness.
"Now behold I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." Mosiah 2:17
I am constantly tired and mission life is 24/7 but it is joyous!
Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have JOY." 2 Nephi 2:25
There are miracles all around us if we will take the time to notice them. We are never alone. God loves us and is keenly aware of every detail of our lives. We stretch and grow as we trust in him. He can make so much more out of our lives if we will follow in faith.
"My life is a gift, my life has a plan. My life has a purpose; in Heaven it began. My choice was to come to this lovely home on Earth and seek for God's light to direct me from birth. I will follow God's plan for me, holding fast to his word and his love. I will work, and I will pray; I will always walk in his way. Then I will be happy on Earth and in my home above."

William fits right in!
We held two transfer meetings, one in the city and one upstate. As the trainers were introduced to their new missionary they greeted each other with a big hug. I loved watching it!
Singing "Each Life That Touches Ours For Good" with the departing missionaries. We have only served with these missionaries for 5 weeks but each of them has touched my heart. I am really going to miss them but I am so excited to see what their future holds. They have served so valiantly and will be very missed in our mission.
Due to uncontrollable circumstances (missing keys, a mission van broken down on the highway, and several delays) Sister Hall stayed one more night with us. It was so fun! Through all of this she and Sister Burley taught several lessons, shared testimony and I had the privilege of being her companion Thursday night and Friday morning.
We held MLC (mission leadership council) on Friday. This is a meeting I have come to love. We council together with our mission leadership. I love these missionaries and I learn from them each time we are together.
