Prayers for Elder Stafford

Today President Smith and I met a remarkable young man.  Elder Ricky Stafford is officially adopted into the NYNYN mission.  He comes to us from the Massachusetts Boston Mission, where he has faithfully served for the past 7 1/2 months.  This week he was transported to Manhattan to undergo intense treatment for Leukemia.  What a remarkable young man with a courageous spirit.  He has been busy sharing the gospel with his doctors, nurses and the medical staff.
We invite all of you to remember Elder Stafford and his family in your prayers this
holiday season.  He comes from a family full of optimism and faith and is the oldest of 8 children.

We also made sure he had some Yankees gear!

"Look unto me in every thought, doubt not, fear not"
