General Conference was so wonderful! I'm so grateful we heard from our dear prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. These were my favorite quotes from his simple inspired message.
"If you're not reading the Book of Mormon each day, please do so!"
"I speak about the power of the Book of Mormon and the critical need we have as members of this church to study, ponder and apply its teaching in our lives."
"If you do not have a firm testimony of these things, do that which is necessary to obtain one."
I love the Book of Mormon. I have a testimony of the power that comes into our lives as we study from it each and every day. It opens up a conduit to heaven which invites the spirit into our hearts and minds and gives us impressions and inspiration to guide us. There is great spiritual power that comes to the heart of all who study and read from it. With it comes a feeling of peace, hope and joy that all is well. We need not fear. The Savior knows and loves us.
I loved all the talks! One that stands out to me in regards to the missionaries is Elder Bednars address in Priesthood. We witness firsthand the miracle of mission calls and being called to serve and assigned a field of labor.
We began conference weekend with the the Westchester Zone missionaries. Saturday morning we gathered for a yummy breakfast mainly prepared and cooked by President Smith. I loved having them in our home to bring the Sprirt and get us ready for conference.

The missionaries also loved the Easter Treats!
|Elder Peterson and Elder Bradley both have twin brothers serving in the NC, Charlotte mission. |
They met today at ZC for the first time.
It was fun for them to make the connection about their twins.
|Big Welcome to Sister Clement, who joined us Wednesday for her "outbound" assignment from the|
Salt Lake Temple Square Mission.
We said goodbye to Sister Sine and Sister Engmann bright and early Wednesday morning. They flew back to Utah to complete their service in the the Salt Lake Temple Square mission.
We loved having our dear Bishop, Steve Williams visit today from Texas. Dave and Elder Honeycutt served as his counselors about 8 years ago.
