A wonderful week!

There is a special feeling in the mission right now.  It is amazing to see how the missionaries are growing in faith and testimony.  They are humble and teachable and truly desire to be obedient and consecrated in their missionary efforts.  They have set high goals for the coming year.  MLC was sacred this month as the spirit was present and confirmed the goals set for the mission. We invite you to unite with your missionary and the mission as a whole in faith and prayer as we seek to do the Lords will and share the gospel with all who will listen and open their hearts.

"...for when a man speaker by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts of the children of men."
~2 Nephi 33:1

We have had two inspiring Zone Conferences this week.  On Monday we met at the
Scarsdale Chapel with Westchester and Kingsbridge Zones.
Followed by Newburgh and Poughkeepsie Zones on Thursday.

Jordan, a young man from Texas, we have known from for several years, recently joined the church and visited us in New York.  It was such a treat to have him share his testimony with our missionaries.
He is preparing to serve a mission.

On Friday we met with the New Missionaries and their trainers at the Scarsdale Chapel.  Following the meeting we gathered in the chapel to watch President Monsons funeral.  It has been a wonderful day and a memorable week.

"There will be no joy in the journey tomorrow
if we don't do something today"
-President Thomas S. Monson

Love these office elders!  They are so helpful and willing to serve.
